I draw from historical and modern religious and mythological symbols found throughout Northern Europe and illustrate them into coloring pages. Some pages are faithful illustrations of historical objects that were so impressive, I didn't need to enhance them. While others are illustrations where I have embellished basic symbols. in formatting the book I have also intentionally staggered pages and left blank pages to allow bleed through for those who color with pens or water color. Many people find thoughts and ideas enter their mind as they color. Considering this, I have aligned images to the top, and text at the bottom of the page, allowing you a blank space for you to write, doodle, or journal. Since I am a nerd, I had to research my subjects and thought; why not be informative as well as entertaining? I have included some facts about the origin, concept, etymology and historical context of the symbols. The maps shown give the location and cities that I mention.
